  • Caleb does a great job in the second half of this presentation breaking down the main approaches to attacking and protecting LLMs. Very intuitive explanations. 

🔍 Bard is getting a few exciting updates

  • Extensions are the primary update, so you’re able to connect Bard to YouTube, Hotel, G-drive, G-mail, etc. The internal connections to your personal data are a bit scary, but the quality of the responses has noticeably improved as well. Here’s a brief 2-minute intro video

📚 The Project Gutenberg Open Audiobook Collection

  • Apparently, Microsoft partnered with Project Gutenberg to run over 5k books through their text-to-speech model and created a bunch of free audiobooks for people to listen to on Spotify, Google Podcasts, etc. Very exciting to see this tech being applied to extending the world of “readers”.

  • #LifeGoals! Shirley is an impressive woman. At 86 years old, she’s able to do modified pushups and easily get up and down from the floor. Equally important she’s sharp mentally. These are life goals for me and are the main reason I’m so meticulous about my workout and eating routines, it’s all about living a long and healthy life.
